Rock 'N Roll pioneer Charlie Gracie is now in the studio recording the follow-up to his 2001 dynamite debut album on Lanark ( I'm Alright). This eagerly anticipated release will feature special guest appearances in addition to the legendary guitar prowess of one of rock's true originators.

The final assembly is underway on the long awaited third nail driving delivery from that manic music machine The Reach Around Rodeo Clowns. This will reaffirm what many already know.... the boys are the baddest bunch on the block.

Work will soon begin on a new Tommy Conwell album. His third release will showcase, once again, his trademark vocals and fretwork fury set against a top-shelf rhythm section. The wait for his latest collection will prove to have been well worth its weight (in gold).

charlie gracie headlined the outdoor street festival at the 2006 "fabulous fifties festival" in THE WILDWOODS (new Jersey) on october 21st :
The appearance was the third consecutive at the festival for charlie---who will mark the 50th anniversary of his first concerts on that resort island--in 2007!

Charlie Gracie beams by the display for his new "BEST OF" cd (original Cameo Recordings--U.S./U.K. chart hits 1956-'58) at the Fabulous 50's Fest. attended by thousands at the New Jersey shore last week. Abkco reports brisk sales and the cd already reached # 1 at oldies.com.

AL KOOPER To Record With CHARLIE GRACIE !

Legendary musician, songwriter, arranger, AL KOOPER has entusiastically agreed to record with Philly's First Rocker, CHARLIE GRACIE on his new rockabilly album in for Lanark RECORDS due out in 2007! KOOPER is a long time fan of Charlie's--joining the ranks of the late George Harrison, Paul McCartney, Graham Nash and Van Morrision.
* KOOPER has written a slew of hit songs and played on recordings with BOB DYLAN, THE ROLLING STONES, CREAM, THE WHO and B.B. KING. He founded BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS and discovered LYNYRD SKYNYRD ! Charlie Gracie will now join that illustrious group! STAY TUNED FOR MORE DETAILS

On fri. May 12, 2006, the CBS network show Numb3rs played Lee Rockers recording of The Girl From Hell, which was written by Quentin Jones of Lanark Records. Lee outstanding recording of this songs is also being used in an independent movie and may also be on another hit show. We will keep you posted.

Charlie Gracie:Fabulous, the made for PBS documentary will be airing around the USA this summer! See and hear the story of Philly's first rock-n-roll star in his own words with appearances from: Graham Nash, Andy Williams, Paul McCartney, Peter Noone, Albert Lee, Frankie Avalon, Fabian, Chubby Checker, Jack Scott, D.J.Fontana, The Comets, Orlons, Dovells, Danny and the Juniors and many others. Plus rare concert and TV footage of Charlie from the 50's to today.

The very first song on Lee Rocker's new Cd, Racin the Devil, is a song written by Quentin Jones, called "The Girl from Hell". The song was first recorded by THe Reach Around Rodeo Clowns as "My Girl's From Hell" on thier 2000 release Circuit Rider, which was produced bu Lee. Lee's new Cd has been released world wide on Alligator Records and the song is up for a movie sound track. Quentin and the Barnstormers new Cd will be out by May 2006. The Cd will be called Bootleg Cd and will feature six new songs written by Quentin and two cover songs. The disc was recorded at Lanark studios by Quentin in Feb of 06. Most of the songs can be downloaded for free on this site.This summer, the boys will be recording an all new album to be released later in the year.

Charlie Gracie will be heading into Lanark Studios this September/October to be recording his follow up cd to "I'm All Right". AFter a tour of England, Charlie will be back in the States recording with Quentin and the Barnstormers and doing select shows on the east coast.
