Charlie Gracie Plays to 1000's in Wildwood N.J.
-
October 25, 2007
Last Saturday and Sunday Charlie Gracie and his band had very big days!. After just getting back from a successful tour of France and before a new tour of England, Charlie played two outdoor shows in front of the boardwalk, in Wildwood N.J.
The first show was attended by about 1500 fans and the second show had around 4000. That evening, Charlie played in front of 7500 in the Wildwood Convention Center. He not only brought the house down, but he received the keys to the city and had his street, Charlie Gracie Ave, named after him.
Sunday saw Charlie in front of another massive crowd in North Wildwood, N.J.
When Charlie returns from England, we will be working on his long awaited follow up CD on Lanark Records.

Quentin and the Barnstormers are adding shows all the time and we are set to play NYC at the Rodeo Bar on Nov 23, and we are working on a show at Otto’s Shrunken Head too. The band has been learning a lot of new songs written by the band and we will be playing them for the first time at Johnny and Hons on 10/28.
Quentin will be joining rock great Charlie Gracie on guitar for three shows at the Wildwood Convention Center in Wildwood N.J. On the boardwalk for the fabulous fifties weekend this Saturday and Sunday. (10/29 and 10/21)
Sad news from the Rodeo Clowns. Wendell has left the band due to his falling in love with Yoko Ono. This will be the second band Yoko ruined!
Lanark is still working on three new releases. Charlie is recording between shows, and the Barnstormers are in pre production for a new CD. We are all still waiting for Tommy Conwell to start work on a new Cd.
Thanks and keep checking in!

The airwaves will crackle in 2007 with 3 new releases from our rock-solid stable.
Rock 'N Roll pioneer Charlie Gracie is now in the studio recording the follow-up to his 2001 dynamite debut album on Lanark ( I'm Alright). This eagerly anticipated release will feature special guest appearances in addition to the legendary guitar prowess of one of rock's true originators.
The final assembly is underway on the long awaited third nail driving delivery from that manic music machine The Reach Around Rodeo Clowns. This will reaffirm what many already know.... the boys are the baddest bunch on the block.
Work will soon begin on a new Tommy Conwell album. His third release will showcase, once again, his trademark vocals and fretwork fury set against a top-shelf rhythm section. The wait for his latest collection will prove to have been well worth its weight (in gold).
