THE REACH AROUND RODEO CLOWNS AND GIRLS AND CORPSES MAGAZINE: A MATCH MADE IN HELL

THE REACH AROUND RODEO CLOWNS AND GIRLS AND CORPSES MAGAZINE: A MATCH MADE IN HELL

Some matches are fated: booze and cigarettes, sweat and blood, chicks on chicks. There’s something about it that is just plain right. Something that draws the two things together until you can’t even think of one without the other.
So it is with The Reach Around Rodeo Clowns and Girls and Corpses magazine.

The Clowns are literally frothing at the mouth (see Quentin on pg. 71!) over their feature article in the Spring issue, Volume 4, of this diabolically delicious mag that, again like the Clowns themselves, is nothing but real. If you never had heard of this controversial magazine you are already missing the speedboat to hell. Yeah, twisted, the mortal coil itself, but unafraid to challenge all that you have been led to believe and hold to be true.

Also featured in this Springtime for Hitler issue is Mary Carey in A pictorial spread with Adolph’s corpse. Final proof of what many have suspected all along — that the Zombie Movie King George Romero is actually a zombie — is presented. Comic, monster, and skull art are displayed in all its glory.

To celebrate this release, the mass will gather at the California Institute of Abnormalities (C.I. A.) on April 17, 2010. There, along with Corpses, and the rest of revelers, lords, and imps, The Reach Around Rodeo Clowns will knock ”˜em dead in the kickoff to their third tour in six months of Southern California and work their way up the Northwest Coast with stops in San Francisco, Fresno, Banning, Bakersfield, Portland, Eugene, Seattle and more. The pressure cooker that has become The Reach Around Rodeo Clowns is about to blow, blow up big and make sure to be apart of it in a city near you.
Clowns Update!

PRESS RELEASE — THE REACH AROUND RODEO CLOWNS

The Reach Around Rodeo Clowns are the East Coast Psychobilly pioneers. Formed in the grunge-infested Nineties, “The Clowns” began an impenetrable musical force that has continued mercilessly to this very moment, the band having just returned home with the rewards of their second West Coast tour in four months.

While in Los Angeles, The Reach Around Rodeo Clowns increased their involvement with their distributor Inner Knot/ADA (WEA) to include the duplication and promotion of their soon-to-be released rock narrative Dark Days, Dark Nights (Lanark Record) already hailed by Robert Rhine, Deaditor-in-Chief of Girls and Corpses magazine, as the most anticipated rock opus since The Who’s Tommy. The band will be featured in the Spring issue of Rhine’s titillating, controversial bikini girl/gore fest mag. The Clowns’ tale is currently being produced in CD, comic book/graphic novel, and mix-media formats. Movie plans are being made.

Horribly intriguing yet endlessly challenging the decay of the Modern World, Dark Days tells the lurid tale of the heartbroken, jobless Rodeo Clown Bob during his decent into a hellish, everyday killing spree. The antagonist turns protagonist when his last friend, a loyal American bulldog, finds Jesus in a backyard well. It is in this metaphor that The Reach Around Rodeo Clowns surprisingly offer hope for the people of America and, and in the process, to a larger world filled with more jobless, homeless, and hungry. The CD is co-produced by the band’s founder Quentin Jones and Tom “T-Bone” Edmonds, whose work is currently detailed in Mix magazine.

The Clowns are touring now in support of their GREATEST HITS! (Lanark) throughout the South and the Southwest. The band will arrive in Los Angeles for an April 17th showcase during the celebration of the Spring Issue of Girls and Corpses at Hollywood’s best-kept secret The California Institute of Abnormalities (C.I.A.). This is a-must-attend event for anyone with a hot button to push, who might like to break a story. Come Christmas the Clowns “cross the pond” for their first tour of Europe and Japan, where the band is anxiously being awaited as the real saviors of Rock ”˜N’ Roll.

Their music itself is pure American Rock ”˜N’ Roll, with its punk, Country and Western, rockabilly, surf, and let’s not forget, Blues and Gospel roots firmly intact. To hear their music and witness the Monsters of Mayhem themselves in concert footage and videos featuring their own unique brand of dopey humor, visit.
