Last night The Reach Around Rodeo Clowns rocked the main stage of Six O’clock Studios in a live performance to be featured in the studio’s pilot for Six O’clock Live. The brain-child of Reading’s own Tony Jackson, Allen Jackson, and Dave Causa-- Six O’ Clock Live is a television program designed to showcase a host of working bands, both established and soon to be. Productions will include live performance, on location content, and green screen treatment.



The Clowns performed the title track of their soon-to-be released Dark Days, Dark Nights (Lanark/Inner knot Records) to a rabid crowd response. Also on the bill were stalwarts such as CKY, Unkle Matt and the Shitbirdz, and Ryan Banks backed by DJ Evolution. Pilot plans also include live performances, interviews, and studio sessions with Gwar, Workhorse III, Gloominous Doom, and, of course, The Six O’clock Saints.

TOUR 3 – CALI AND THE NW

Three Pacific Coast tours in six months was our plan. How do you do something like that? Money and balls. What do you do after the money runs out? Rely on your balls. After all, this is Rock N Roll.

Now I understand what Quentin’s phrase “on the balls of your ass” means. I mean I got it just this second.

I told him I would write this blog months ago and then we both forgot. Or at least he didn’t remind me. There’s so much you gotta do when you gotta do it all yourself. Sweatin' balls is one of them.

Speaking of sweat, I just woke up in a cold one. Psychologists like to say our dreams last but seconds, when you are coming out of the light dream phase. I beg to differ. Mine last for hour after excruciating hour. I wake up exhausted.
